The Design

Here is the final plan. The challenge was to present Arif and Shelly in a small amount of space (with few pixels to work with) without washing them out AND without too much color differential between their natural skin tones. I spent a good deal of time getting the balances to look just right, and am very happy with how this turned out.

The build will begin very soon!

Moving Right Along

The build is going quickly! It'll probably be another few hours. Olivia is coming over to help make sure the LEGO mosaic gets finished before the weekend so it can get shipped right away.

Almost Complete!

Everything is coming along really quickly, and with Olivia's help, the mosaic is just about complete. This is the most fun part, where the mosaic is really starting to take shape and look like something! =)

Tomorrow morning's work will finish the project, and everything will be shipped to arrive before Valentine's Day.

Project Complete!

The project was finished up this afternoon. Next begins the shipping process. The package will be in the mail tonight, getting everything in order for Valentine's Day.
