I was walking through a clothing store when I saw an apron with a pattern of spoons. I made a mental note because they reminded me of Edward Munch's 'The Scream' painting.
I knew that spoons would make a neat grayscale Lego mosaic because of their simplicity and familiarity. When I started tweaking the design, I loved the double-entendre pun of ice cream-serving spoons and the spoons serving as the subject to mimic the portrait called 'The Scream'.
Now, it's all I can see when I look at this Lego mosaic. Take a second look. Do you see it too?
