LEGO Mosaic: "Baby Edward"

At Brickworkz, we love repeat customers. And when we heard back from the parents of Baby Molly to capture their new baby boy in a Lego portrait also, we jumped at the chance.
With multiple mosaics in the same household, we try and compare the existing mosaic style so that the two mosaics compliment one another. In the case of our customer here, we knew that Baby Molly was a closeup of her head and adorable flowery bow with a dark background.
Our customer sent us several photos of their son Edward, and the one we both liked best was of his hair in disarray. This hair would be the new highlight of the Lego portrait, and we'd accentuate the hair by putting him on a white background. The contrast of the two Lego mosaics side by side would look brilliant and both kids would be sized similarly if displayed together.
The portrait of Baby Edward came together well, and we knew right away the mosaic was going to be a hit. With an adorable subject like that, how could you go wrong?
Our customer wrote us after opening the box and surprising his wife: "Both my wife and I want to let you know that it exceeded our expectation! The picture we saw simply did not do justice! The background in white is absolute genius! Thanks again for another great piece."
