The Soul Searching LEGO mosaic was based on a self-portrait taken years ago in college. There was something sad about this portrait that always compelled me to want to do something artistic with it years down the road. Little did I know that years down the road, I'd have a LEGO mosaic business and would have a very unique and creative way to express my art. When I was looking through old photos, I immediately knew what to do with this one... and I decided to colorize the eyes unlike my own to accentuate the lost loneliness the portrait conveyed.
