I designed this Spongebob Squarepants LEGO mosaic as a door prize for the Baby/Child Expo in Richmond, Virginia. The mosaic was a huge hit at the show! Spongebob was won by the Vartak family in Richmond, Virginia.
At the time, this was the most colorful LEGO mosaic built by Brickworkz. The intricacies of the yellow and white background made for a particular challenge.
I've never seen an episode of Spongebob, but can understand the appeal. Who wouldn't love a talking yellow sponge who cooks french fries and lives in a pineapple underwater? That's just awesome.
