This was my first LEGO mosaic.
It started as a wedding gift to my friends Jeff and Olivia. Every present I was going to get was bought by them before their wedding. My interest in LEGO has always been around. When I thought about doing art as a present, I thought it might be something they'd be interested in.
LEGO had a mosaic product at the time, but it just wasn't big enough. This was my solution- to make it myself from scratch. During the build, I learned how to create mosaics, purchase parts, assemble a LEGO mosaic and went through many lessons the hard way.
The presentation of the gift was nerve-wracking, but I know they appreciated the time it took and the thought that I had put into it all. It was definitely worth the effort. The whole project was documented in the clients area, so be sure to check that out!
