Artist Brian Korte stands in front of two walls of LEGO mosaics. The third wall? Well, you'll have to come and see for yourself!

Brickworkz kicks off a two-month display at Richmond Virginia's Crossroads Art Center, featuring 16 mosaics made from over 200,000 LEGO bricks. Never before have so many LEGO mosaics been in one room in the city of Richmond.

The grand opening of the Brickworkz display- and that of other artists featured in the Crossroads Art Center- was Friday, May 15. The Brickworkz display is in the "Side Car Gallery" which is the largest open space in the building.

It's really best to see this Lego art in person, but here are some photos of the event:

The display will be open during regular business hours from that point until July 6th. Regular hours are Mon-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-4pm. More information at www.crossroadsartcenter.com.

Highlight:

The Cougar from Collegiate School was recently assembled and sold at the annual Winter Party fundraiser. Watch the video here to see how it was assembled.
