Another Quick Intro
'cause it's been a while since the last newsletter
Hello- It's me again, Brian Korte. We either met at a convention or a LEGO event somewhere, or perhaps you already knew me. Either way, I thought I would reintroduce myself and the reason for this email. The "News from the Studio" emails come only once a month and shares info about Brickworkz, our projects, and recent highlights. I have made some changes, including the format of this newsletter, so please let me know what you think.

Brick artist Brian Korte recalls his year of LEGO bricks
This week in 2006, I turned my process of creating LEGO art into a business. I started Brickworkz LLC with a few thousand dollars and a June deadline for a 150,000-brick gallery display. After a full year of turning pics into bricks, I reflected on the success of Brickworkz in 2006 and planned some exciting changes for the new year. I have some lofty goals for Brickworkz in 2007. A Very LEGO Christmas
It turned out to be a very LEGO Christmas for me and the Brickworkz studio. Like many Americans, I look forward to the day after Thanksgiving- Not because of the deep discounts and excellent prices at department stores, but because it's finally time to really get into the Christmas spirit. A year ago this week, Brickworkz LLC was born. We've come a long way in a short time! Don't miss the 2006 year-in-review and goals for 2007 at the new Brickworkz blog.
New Site Updates
The site you know as Brickworkz.com was created as quickly as I could from the 12th floor of the Tropicana casino, overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Why? Well, that's a long story!
Since then, I have worked to expand the site to become more in-depth and more interactive. Much of the site is already updated with new programming to enable instant feedback, so I encourage you to leave some! More projects (and photos) will come very soon too. Stay tuned!
